Il pleut depuis que l'on s'est couché la nuit dernière. La 3A est très très calme de ce côté-ci de la rive. Ça roule très bien. Beaucoup de petits vallons et vue sur le lac. Les nuages sont très bas et parfois, nous sommes dans le brouillard.
Il y a beaucoup d'artistes le long de cette route. Elle est à faire en été lorsque tout est ouvert. Il faut donc prévoir un peu de temps pour bien en profiter.
Petit arrêt à magasin de Boswell. Dame très sympa qui fait des petites pâtisseries fraîches du jour.
À Wynndell, si on prend la Lower Wyndell rd, on évite une belle montée sur la 3A. La route passe à côté de fermes et c'est très joli.
Arrivés à Creston vers 13h30. Nous sommes arrêtés au Tim pour sécher un peu et manger un 2ème dîner.
Comme nous ne trouvions pas de camping avec un abri pour cuisiner, nous avons décidez d'aller dans un petit motel: ...
Le proprio est très gentil et les cyclistes sont les bienvenus.

Rain all night but we have a shelter to cook breakfast which consist of oatmeal and granola since we left Victoria! Grey sky and rain on and off all morning so we stopped in a small store of hwy 3a to get warm and we discovered fresh baked goods right on the counter, so what did we do? ...mmmmmmm. After fueling up with low octane pastries we carried on to Wyndell. From there, we used lower Wyndell road to Creston , the scenery is better, so we heard.(bahhhhhh! It was to avoid a big hill!) Once in Creston, nice warm soup at the local cafe (Tim horton) and since we could not find a campground with a shelter, we stayed at the Creston valley hotel to watch Ottawa get kicked out of the playoff. New York better go all the way.
