Nous nous sommes bien reposés et sommes maintenant prêts à rouler contre le vent. Pas trop le choix, il vente d'est en ouest et nous allons d'ouest en est. Nous prenons la piste cyclable de la route verte tout près du centre d'info touristique de St-Jérôme puis un chemin transversal jusqu'à Terrebonne. Nous rejoignons enfin le Chemin du Roy, la route 138 qui a un bel accotement et fait aussi partie de la route verte.
Vers le milieu de l'après-midi, nous quittons le fleuve pour entrer dans les terres et le vent est de plus en plus fort. Nous sommes bien contents d'arriver à la destination vers 16h45. Nous couchons dans un motel, car nous ne trouvons pas de camping tout près. Disons que nous ne poussons pas nos recherches loin, non plus.

After a great rest, we are going back on the road again. We biked through St-Jerome to reach a bike path that we used for a few km. We biked for a while on a quiet road all the way to Terrebonne from where we reached the "route verte", secondary hwy 138. From there, we went all the way to Louiseville where we spent the night.
Quebec is really nice but once again today we had a head wind blowing at up to 40km/h. One more thing about Quebec, it is the best province so far for bicycle path but I think I understand why all those paths. The drivers here are really aggressive and defensive! They own the road for sure! It appears to me that nobody slows down in construction zones and it looks like all the stop signs are to far back from the intersections. So everybody pull out on the bike lanes to stop!
Other than that, it's great to be here.
