Le nouveau changement d'heure rend le réveil un peu plus difficile ce matin. Il est déjà 6h40 au lieu de 5h40. Malgré cela, nous réussissons à partir à l'heure habituelle soit environ 9h.

Il vente et cela nous ralenti un peu à certains moments. Nous savourons les rares moments où l'on a le vent dans le dos. Nous arrivons à Brandon vers 12h40 et faisons une pause dîner. Il fait un temps magnifique et au moins 15 degrés.

Le vent souffle davantage en après-midi et il est plus souvent nuisible qu'aidant. Nous atteignons finalement notre destination finale du jour vers 16h15: Carberry. C'est un plus petit village que nous nous attendions. Mais n'ayant plus accès à Internet depuis notre arrivée au Manitoba, on ne plus consulter les cartes et trouver des infos via Internet. Le retour au bonnes vieilles cartes en papier... Ainsi, on peut savoir à quelles distances sont les petites villes/villages sur notre chemin. Mais, ça ne nous donne pas la météo. Telus devrait fonctionner plus de Winnipeg. En auto, ça se fait en une 1/2 journée, mais à vélo... Il faut compter quelques jours.

No frost this morning and really nice, double expresso for me, same old breakfast and we are on the road shortly before 9 o'clock. The road is really nice in Manitoba so far. Itnis windy again today, sometimes helping, sometimes holding us a bit. We got to Brandon by 12:40 and got our lunch break there. Only 42 km from Brandon is our destination for today, a small town by the name of Carberry. Did you people know that Telus as no service from the Saskatchewan border to just outside of Winnipeg? By car, it's no big deal 4 hours but for us it's 3 days!!! We use a Tablet Computer to calculate our route, check maps, look up campgrounds and without Telus signal, we don't access any of that! Oh well, there is yellow pages, maps and even people we can rely on to obtain information.
4:15 is the time we got in Carberry, I approached a stranger(In my head I called him Google) and asked him where the campground was and he showed me the way! See, we don't need Telus and all that technology!
